The Metwood 250WR I-Joist Web Reinforcer™

250WR I-Joist Web Reinforcers™ are designed to repair an opening in the web portion of an I-joist up to 12 inches high by 16 inches wide.

The I-Joist Web Reinforcers™ are engineered light gauge steel attachments for engineered I-Joists allowing larger openings in floor joists. The Metwood patented and engineered I-Joist Web Reinforcer™ simplifies the routing and installation of utilities while repairing and restoring the strength of floor joists weakened by the placement of large holes.

Our Metwood I-Joist Web Reinforcers™ are shipped with the screws and drill bit needed for easy installation and are simply screwed to the side of the floor joist with no glue needed.

The 250WR I-Joist Web Reinforcers™ are designed to repair holes in the web portion of an I-Joist that have a 2.5 inch flange and come for I-joist sizes of 11 7/8 inch, 14 inch, and 16 inch. If using the 250 series on a flange larger or smaller than that of 2.5″, the web area or the flange area may need to be padded out so the 250 series Reinforcer fits tight against the joist.
